Visiting Professorship in Pediatric Urology

Since 1998, Georgia Pediatric Urology has honored Drs. John Woodard and Tom Parrott. In 1975, John W. Woodard founded the Emory Pediatric Urology Fellowship Program which is one of the longest continuously running programs in the USA.

Thomas S. Parrott (1943-1997) was the first postgraduate fellow and chief of urology at Scottish Rite Hospital. Each year an expert pediatric urologist is invited to Atlanta to honor the innovation and expertise these leaders have provided to children with genitourinary disorders throughout the world.
