Anand “Andy” Mohapatra, MD

Dr. Anand “Andy” Mohapatra is a board-certified urologist who cares for patients with a wide range of urologic conditions. He believes in taking time to listen to patients, understand their goals, and develop thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Mohapatra completed his urology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he gained extensive experience caring for patients across the full spectrum of urologic conditions. He earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and holds a bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Mohapatra cares for patients with conditions including kidney stones and complex stone disease, enlarged prostate (BPH), urinary incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and buried penis. He works closely with patients to determine the most appropriate treatment approach—whether that involves medical management, minimally invasive procedures, or surgery.

Throughout his training and career, Dr. Mohapatra has been involved in clinical research and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in urology and medical journals. His academic work has focused on areas including endourology, bladder dysfunction, neuromodulation, and outcomes-based care, and he has presented research at national and international meetings. He is a member of the American Urological Association and the American College of Surgeons.

He focuses on helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options so they can make confident, informed decisions about their care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Mohapatra enjoys traveling, ballroom and Latin dancing with his wife, and spending time with their children and Australian Shepherd.
