Dr. Marcos Pérez Marchán is a pediatric urology fellow with Georgia Urology and Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry from Florida State University before completing his medical degree, graduating cum laude, at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico.
He completed his five-year urology residency at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus, where he served as Chief Resident.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Pérez Marchán intends to return to Puerto Rico to deliver specialized pediatric urological care and train future generations of surgeons. His academic and clinical interests focus on minimally invasive pediatric robotic surgery and complex congenital anomalies.
Outside of his clinical training and research, Dr. Pérez Marchán enjoys playing the guitar, listening to music, cooking, mixology, and playing golf.
