Congratulations to Doctors Andrew Kirsch and Angela Arlen (Pediatric Fellow) on their AUA 2014 Annual Meeting abstract titled “Early Effect of American Academy of Pediatrics UTI Guidelines on Emergency Admissions, Radiographic Imaging and Diagnosis of Vesicoureteral Reflux” which has been chosen to be included in the 2014 AUA Press Program. There were 2,300 abstracts accepted for presentation at this year’s Annual AUA Meeting; of this group, fewer than 35 abstracts were selected for presentation to the media. This elite group of abstracts undergoes a rigorous selection process, including review by a panel of Public Media Committee members and AUA Communications Department staff. This review ensures the abstract is not only newsworthy, but also scientifically sound and ready for presentation to the general public.
