Ashley Banks is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than a decade of nursing experience across primary care, family planning, inpatient rehabilitation, and medical-surgical and trauma care. Her background includes caring for patients at Primehealth Plus Medical Center, The Little Clinic, and the Forsyth County Health Department, as well as registered nursing roles at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

Ashley is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She prioritizes patient education, active listening, and building trusting relationships to help patients better understand their conditions, explore treatment options, and make informed decisions about their health and overall well-being.

Ashley earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of North Georgia, where her doctoral work focused on nurse practitioner onboarding. She also holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration from Brenau University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Emory University.

Beyond clinical practice, Ashley is passionate about mentoring and supporting fellow healthcare providers. She has served as an Elite Provider Trainer at The Little Clinic and adjunct clinical faculty at the University of North Georgia. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a certified FMCSA medical examiner.
