Dr. Scherz did a great job. My seventeen year old son had a quick surgery a few weeks ago. Dr. Scherz met with both of us at Scottish Rite before the surgery and then met with me afterwards. I felt like Dr. Scherz and everyone at Scottish Rite did everything to make my son feel comfortable. I want to say thank you to Dr. Scherz and his team. We appreciate everything you did.

I am a little disappointed that my child’s primary care provider was more concerned with his issue than the specialist. I was in the office a whole 20 minutes and felt like we were not of importance. After driving all the way up, we were only in the exam room 10 minutes and 5 of that was the nurse working us up and waiting on the doctor. He did not spend an adequate amount of time with us.

Dr. Scherz‘s office staff was fast and efficient with our appointment today. As always Dr. Scherz took his time with us and ensured that we understand exactly what is going on and what to expect at future visits.

Dr. Scherz has been taking care of our daughter since she was a newborn, and he has done several procedures and surgery on her. She is now almost 6 years old. We've always had a wonderful experience with him and his staff. Highly recommend.

As a new parent, hearing that your 6 month old needs surgery is absolutely terrifying. When I met Dr. Scherz, I immediately felt relief. He was informative and gentle about our feelings. And the moment he joked to make us more comfortable, I knew we were in the right place. After meeting with Dr. Scherz, we felt as comfortable (as we could) with the situation. Then I did more research on Dr. Scherz, and with his credentials, we feel so lucky our son is in his hands.

Our trip to this appointment started off rocky because I left my purse at home with my mask, money and ID inside. I didn't realize this until I was on the highway and it was too late to turn back. When I arrived at the office the receptionist at the desk gave me a mask after I told her I left everything in my purse. Thankfully I did have a picture of my ID in my phone and I was able to check in my son with the picture. Normally they wouldn't do it but because of my situation the receptionist also validated my parking pass. They were extremely helpful. Dr. Scherz came in and looked at my newborn son and he turned our visit into an outpatient procedure and solved the issue right there. I was so thankful that my son did not have to endure any surgery. Dr. Scherz was quick and but thorough and told me there was no need to schedule another appointment but to give them a call if I had any questions or concerns. This appointment turned out great and my son is doing great. THANKS AGAIN!

Dr. Scherz performed surgeries on both of my boys at a very young age. We knew we were in good hands with him. All of the procedures went off without a hitch. Dr. Scherz is the best in the business and we are very fortunate to have found him. He’s a well respected pioneer in pediatric urology and you couldn’t ask for a more qualified surgeon.
