Heather Wagner is a board-certified physician assistant with experience in emergency medicine and the management of complex, high-acuity patients. She works collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to provide comprehensive patient care in fast-paced clinical settings.

Heather earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from South University. Before becoming a physician assistant, she worked as a medical laboratory scientist at Emory University Hospital and Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in laboratory medicine, hematology, microbiology, and diagnostic testing.

Her clinical background includes performing bedside procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, fracture stabilization, and foreign body removal. She also assists physicians with advanced procedures and coordinates care with specialists and surgical teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Georgia. She is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
