Georgia Urology Monitors and Responds to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

At Georgia Urology, protecting your safety during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a top priority. The CDC and Georgia Department of Public Health still recommend that healthcare workers, patients, and visitors at places where healthcare is delivered continue to wear appropriate facemasks even if they are fully vaccinated. As a result:

  • All physicians, staff, patients, and visitors aged 2 and older must wear an appropriate facemask at our clinics and ambulatory surgery centers. An “appropriate facemask” is one that completely covers the nose and mouth, and fits snugly against the sides of the face without gaps.
  • Patients and visitors are encouraged to bring their own facemasks, but if you don’t have an appropriate facemask, we will provide one to you for your visit.
  • Where appropriate, we will continue to use telemedicine for many patients.

As always, our mission is to provide the highest level of care in a safe environment. We remain committed to that mission.

If you have any questions, please contact your local Georgia Urology office.
