Our very own Dr. Jerry Yuan was recently published in Reviews in Urology, a peer reviewed medical journal covering all aspects of urology.
Dr. Yuan’s article, titled “Geritourinary Presentation of Tuberculosis,” discusses two cases in which tuberculosis has manifested itself as urologic complications. Although these instances are rare, Dr. Yuan urges urologists to be aware of the possibility, especially in patients who have recently immigrated to the United States or traveled abroad for prolonged periods.
