During the show, Dr. Keith and host Dr. Bruce Feinberg discussed several urologic topics including vasectomy, blood in urine, kidney cancer, recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs), and more. In addition, Dr. Keith took numerous questions from callers and walked through his experience to becoming a urologist after completing his undergraduate education at Duke University and medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine.
Dr. Keith expressed how his passion for patient care ultimately became the deciding factor in choosing urology. “After looking into several different fields, I became drawn to the surgery aspect of urology,” said Dr. Keith on the show. “I found the technology used in the field fascinating. But most importantly, the ability to diagnose and take care of patients long-term while making a positive difference in the quality of their lives exceptional in urology.”
After attending Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Keith completed his surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. On top of being a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), he has completed a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute/National Institutes of Health and presented at regional and national meetings on genitourinary cancer, erectile dysfunction, and urinary incontinence.
At Georgia Urology, he sees patients at our Douglasville office location.
