On Sunday, March 12, 2023, Georgia Urology’s Dr. Michael Kemper appeared as the featured guest on “The Weekly Check-Up,” Atlanta’s number one healthcare radio show, on 95.5 FM WSB.
The main focus of the show was men’s health, namely what Dr. Kemper refers to as “lifestyle urology.” This refers to urology issues which can impact the quality of your life: dealing with the pain from a kidney stone, difficulty having sex, trouble urinating or holding in urine, and more.
During the show, Dr. Kemper explained that there are a variety of treatment options available to patients with these conditions. Pills and injections are popular, but may not work for everyone and there are a number of other treatments which can provide long-term relief. He also explained the importance of seeing a specialist who is qualified to provide evidence-based care and personalized solutions that consider the health history of each patient.
In addition to answering host Dr. Bruce Feinberg’s question about his recent experience with some overactive bladder symptoms, Dr. Kemper took calls from listeners to answer their questions about incontinence, enlarged prostate (or BPH) and erectile dysfunction (ED).
Dr. Kemper shared that he’ll be hosting a webinar mainly focused on ED on March 16 at 6:30 p.m. Patients who are interested in learning more can confidentially attend this discussion by registering in the link here!
