Many reception staff wearing face masks on their neck instead of covering face. One took my insurance card with her mask off and was breathing all over my card that was held a few inches from her face. When we checked out, many reception staff not wearing masks while talking to each other. Patients are required, rightly so, to wear masks. Unbelievable that during a health crisis, staff at a professional medical office are not properly wearing masks. I'm supposed to bring my child back for a follow-up in a few months, but I'm not comfortable doing so if it's not safe for us. The reception staff should respect the health and safety of themselves, their co-workers, and most importantly their patients. I also had to remind the check-out clerk to collect my co-pay; she really should've checked to see if I had one before trying to send me on my way. Other than that, the staff is all very nice. Dr. Scherz and his nurse are amazing.

The Phreesia check in process is flawed in several ways. For me, it duplicated an entry under Medical History. For many other families who came in on the same day (8/13/20), the information didn’t transfer from their phone to GUs system. Some had to redo in the office. The receptionist’s scanner wasn’t working, so she had to photo copy insurance cards & IDs. The waiting area is too small for safe social distancing.
