Jennifer Goodson, MSN, FNP-C
Jennifer Goodson received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in 1995. In 2002, she earned her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgia State University.
Goodson began her nursing career primarily working in emergency medicine and urgent care. This included becoming one of the first staff nurses in the Fayette Hospital emergency room. After receiving her master’s degree, Goodson worked in a variety of settings including urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and hospice. Her experience at Cancer Treatment Centers of America found her developing and implementing carcinoma surveillance programs and survivorship care for all cancer types.
A native of Fayette County, Goodson has spent the majority of her career working in the area and enjoys serving and establishing a connection with her community. She currently works in Georgia Urology’s Fayetteville office assisting Drs. Shapiro, Abbott, Yang, and Barrett-Harlow.
Goodson enjoys spending time with her family and participating in hobbies such as water skiing, home restoration, and raising dairy goats
