Kaeleen Melhado, FNP-C

Kaeleen Melhado earned her master’s degree in Nursing from Brenau University.

As a student, Kaeleen was invited to join the Honors Society and attended a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) training and a first-responder course. She has also been featured in a commercial highlighting her participation in the Brenau Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate program. While in pursuit of her MS-FNP degree, Kaeleen worked in various departments, including emergency, ICU, IMCU, post-anesthesia care, and most recently working on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the designated COVID-19 ICU and IMCUs.

Kaeleen is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Being of Latino and Hispanic heritage and bilingual, she hopes that as a member of the Georgia Urology team, she can be a valuable and helpful resource for patients in the Latino Hispanic community in bridging language barrier gaps and providing quality care.

Kaeleen currently works at Georgia Urology’s Duluth, Lawrenceville, and Snellville offices.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending outdoor music festivals, trying new foods, hiking, and traveling internationally.
