
Ricardo Arceo-Olaiz, M.D.
Dr. Ricardo Arceo-Olaiz is a pediatric urology fellow with Georgia Urology and Emory University/Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Dr. Arceo-Olaiz earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México UNAM (1999-2006); he specialized in urology at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición “Salvador Zubirán” in Mexico City (2006-2012). After finishing his residency, he trained in laparoscopy and urologic oncology during 2012 at the Hospital Universitario Fundación Alcorón in Madrid, Spain. He then sub-specialized in pediatric urology at the Instituto de Pediatría in Mexico City (2013-2015). He completed an observership in pediatric urology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as part of the program exchange of the Open Medical Institute/American Austrian Foundation and its Mexican partner Alianza Médica para la Salud. He is a board certified urologist and the only Latin American certified in Pediatric Urology by the Joint Committee of Pediatric Urology/European Society for Pediatric Urology (FEAPU).
In his spare time, Dr. Arceo-Olaiz enjoys heavy metal music, traveling, and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.
