Dr. Yuan is brilliant and is an unquestionable expert in his field. Don't let the negative reviews sway you from that fact. That being said, if you are the type of person who is accustomed to [and needs] a slow talking, gentle, coddling, and emotional disposition from your doctor, he is not for you. If you like matter-of-fact, no BS, efficient, pure knowledge in your doctor, you will like him. I did take note of his unusually straightforward bedside manner, but as soon as I adjusted my "beside manner compass" to how he is, we had a great rapport. Raw knowledge and skill is much more valuable to me than being slow-walked and coddled as a patient. Hopefully this will help others make sense of what they read here.
need updated reading material in waiting room
I made my appointment for 10:30am and it was 11am before I was seen by the doctor. Having to wait isn’t good for me when an appointment has been made.
Dr Juan was kind, caring and explained well during his care for my elderly father who suffers from dementia. I know my father felt respected. I greatly appreciated Dr Juan's good explanations concerning UTI's in the elderly. Thank you very much!

I thought Dr Yuan and his staff were great. They got me an appointment quickly and when I got to my appointment I didn't have to wait a long time as with other offices. Dr Yuan was thorough with me and patiently answered my questions. Not sure what took place with some of the other patients, but he and his staff treated me very well. Yes, I would recommend him to my family and friends.
Calling the office was frustrating. The first two times I did not get a call back.
I waited extra long to have blood drawn by nurse. Had to look for one.
The doctor was very open and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and discussed our options.

Dr. Yuan took the time to learn about my situation, was very thorough in both his examination and in his explanation of the situation and my options. And he worked to ensure that I understood everything and that my questions were answered. I have high confidence in both the care and professionalism of Dr. Yuan.
