Dr. Kalpit Patel joined Georgia Urology in January 2025 with a broad focus on general adult urology and specialized expertise in female urology, particularly female incontinence. He is a Center of Excellence in sacral neuromodulation and further specializes in complex stone endoscopic procedures and BPH treatments, including Aquablation. Dr. Patel is known for his patient-centered approach, clear communication, and focus on safe practices and long-term efficacy to minimize the need for frequent follow-ups and procedures.

Born in India and having lived in Dubai before moving to the U.S. in the late 1980s, Dr. Patel was raised in northern New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate education in New Jersey before attending Northeast Ohio Medical University for medical school, where he met his wife, who is now a practicing cardiologist in Georgia. He pursued his urology residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center.

Dr. Patel has staff privileges at Northeast Georgia Hospital Systems.

Dr. Patel and his wife relocated to Georgia in 2016, and he has been practicing urology there since. Outside of work, they are busy raising their three young sons, ages 1, 3, and 5. The family enjoys exploring the Greater Atlanta area, hiking, playing sports, and taking adventurous international trips.

Dr. Patel is enthusiastic about the collaborative and resource-rich environment at Georgia Urology, with the ultimate goal of providing comprehensive and advanced care tailored to each patient’s needs.
