On Saturday, November 2nd, Georgia Urology’s Dr. Jeffrey Proctor hosted a walk to cure Interstitial Cystitis. The walk took place between 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. in Cartersville, Georgia at Dellinger Park and consisted of remarks from Dr. Proctor, Georgia Urology, and a member of the ICA’s Medical Advisory Board.
The one-mile walk was followed by a meet and greet with the fellow walking groups. Dr. Proctor’s walking group, The Stream Team included over eighty current and former patients as well as staff members.
Georgia Urology physician Dr. Barry Zisholtz helped treat Riverdale police Maj. Greg Barney at Southern Regional Medical Center after he was shot during a drug raid earlier this month. Now Dr. Zisholtz is encouraging the community to honor the fallen officer.
