During the show, Dr. Douglass and Dr. Falconer discussed the effects of prostate cancer on African American men and ways to monitor your prostate health to minimize serious complications.
Besides skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men, according to the American Cancer Society. Approximately, about 1 in 9 men will become diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime and is more likely to develop in older men and African American men.
