In late May, Dr. Jeffrey G. Proctor gave a presentation to the American Urological Association (AUA) on his research involving an injection protocol to reduce urinary retention following treatment of an overactive bladder (OB).
In his recent presentation to the AUA, “A Bladder Injection System and a Specific Injection Protocol Reduce Urinary Retention Following OnabotulinumtoxinA treatment of Overactive Bladder (OAB)”, Dr. Proctor defines the research objective, methods, the bladder injection protocol, results, and conclusions.
Out of the several female patients being treated for OAB who participated in the injection protocol study, 99.5% reported symptom relief.
