Since this was first visit, I would hesitate to give a summary. I think the important visits are ahead.
Called to get test results was put on hold for a least 10 minutes, finally hung up...Still don't have my results...
I like Dr Gonzalez, he is friendly, concerned, and knows his business. I felt comfortable and relaxed during the visit.
Great first visit
Dr Gonzalez is an excellent Dr. this is my 4th attempt to get this to you. Sooo whoever reads this, Dr Gonzalez is knowledgeable .Very skilled. Also, very kind and compassionate! Every thing GOOD!! I could say lots more, but time will run out
My experience was very respectful and professional. As a man, the issues that have to be dealt with can be sensitive and personal, so professionalism is important. I give Ga. Urology high marks in that regard.
The only shortcoming was the extended period for the scheduled biopsy. It is scheduled over a month after my recent visit.
patient of dr. Gonzalez. I have 1 kidney and was having pain, frequent urination, etc. when I called they had me come in same day for urine culture. I did speak with a Dr. or a nurse. no one acknowledged me in the back or even ask me any questions. I went back out front said I ciykd go someone would call me. I was hurting. and felt like no one was concerned with my care. having only 1 kidney this could have been life threatening.
I saw Dr. Kreitman in September and again in October. He referred me to Dr. Gonzalez. When I called for an apmt with Dr Gonzalez I was told it was not going to happen until Jan 16, a 3 month wait. I appealed and after 3 more phone calls over 3 days, I was given a Nov 14 apmt. I really appreciated that. But it is very hard to get a reasonable apmt with the scheduling desk, at least with Dr Gonzalez. Now I'm waiting to find out when I can get the recommended surgery scheduled. Dr. Gonzalez warned that everyone is trying to get their surgery before the end of the year, so it might not be until next year.
Dr. Gonzalez was absolutely the right choice for my specific problem. His skill in robotic surgery paired with his empathetic understanding of all I've been through, and the optimism he gave me, could not have been better. I'm grateful to have been referred to him by Dr. Kriteman. And I'm forever grateful to Dr. Gonzalez. Unlike many urologists who's focus is mostly on men and prostate issues, he is highly experienced in urological conditions affecting women.
