After living for years with a very large prostate I decided to do something about it since it affected the quality of life in no small measure. Investigating whatever technologies were available, I finally decided on robotic surgery since it seemed to be the only procedure to provide long-term relief and quick recovery. My search for the best possible surgeon let me to Dr. Gonzalez who came highly recommended. Fast forward, I'm very pleased with the surgery outcome and have every confidence in Dr. Gonzalez. Starting with GA Urology's Canton office with great personnel and Northside Cherokee Hospital, a modern, efficient facility and....the nurses were the best. At post op Dr. Gonzalez spent additional time to stress do's and don'ts during recovery. Overall, a great experience, I'm a happy camper!

Dr. Gonzales and his staff are the best. Professional, caring, informative! Dr. Gonzales found a cancerous tumor in my kidney and performed robotic surgery to remove it. His yearly followup with me in the past 5 years has been encouraging and comforting. He really cares about his patients and takes great care to make sure they understand what's going on in their body.

My wife & I greatly appreciated Dr. Gonzalez taking the time to thoroughly explain the available treatments for prostate cancer along with the pros and cons of each. We left with what we deemed the information required to make an informed decision as to the best and safest path forward for my condition. Thank you.

Dr. Froylan Gonzalez MD is one of the most compassionate caring doctors that has ever treated me. The thing I really like and appreciate about Dr. Gonzalez is he is direct and to the point and clearly explains your situation, diagnosis, and options. He discussed with my wife and I our options and what we could be expecting long-term in the future. He put us both at ease with his compassionate words and overwhelming knowledge of the subject. I feel blessed that I was referred to him from my South Georgia urologist Dr. Jeffrey Peters. The trip was a bit lengthy from our extreme south Georgia location, but I would drive twice that distance again to receive the care from this doctor and his highly competent staff. Everyone I met in his office as well as Northside Cherokee Hospital were extremely friendly and compassionate people. Their office as well as northside Cherokee could be a teaching institution as far as compassionate friendly care. As my wife stated, they are the Chick-fil-A and Publix of the medical care industry! We never encountered a single individual that didn’t greet us with a big smile and hello! I highly recommend that if you are need of oncology or Urology care please contact Dr. Gonzalez‘s office. I promise you will not be disappointed! God bless you Dr. Gonzalez, and all your staff! Best regards, Jimmy Laska

Excellent patient relations. These folks could be a teaching group as to how all other medical facilities should treat their patients with the highest degree of respect and dignity.

Saw Dr. GONZALEZ after Dr. Capaluto didn’t know anything to do and said we should go somewhere else. Dr GONZALEZ seems to know so much more and was very helpful. I think he is the one who can finally help me after months of discomfort and pain. He’s wonderful! We just had to wait an hour and a half to see him. He was worth it though.
