I would definitely recommend Dr. Gonzales as he is so very professional and highly skilled as a urologist. I have been seeing him for 8 years now and he is a Dr. that you can talk to and he will listen to your concerns. He did surgery on me last Sept. and it went so well that I was released to go home the same day, which is unlikely for most patients. You will not be disappointed as he is a great Dr, of which we could use more of.

I waited 50 minutes to see my Doctor. When he finally came I felt that the appointment was rushed and that he wasn't really listening to my answers as he went along asking me questions. It felt as he was answering my own questions before I had a chance to finish my own answer. As a patient I feel the need to be listened to like my health matters. The question that most astonished me from him was that he asked me whether he had operated on me or someone else had. How is it that my own Doctor does not know whether he operated on me or not? If he does not remember he should at least look at my chart before the appointment. At the end of an appointment I also like to be asked whether I have any questions. He did not ask me this, instead he gave me instructions on what I'm supposed to do and I was left with unanswered questions because he was in a hurry to usher me out.I did not get a good feeling from this Doctor however good he might be as a Doctor he lacks social skills, empathy, kindness

Telemedicine to review MRI. Did not receive a copy of report by email or other for my review during telemedicine. I asked for it but it has not been sent. I have emailed Delaina for it. Still not sent. There is a lot of stress over MRI results and though the telemedicine visit with DR G verbally informed me of the results, I VERY much want a copy of the MRI report that I can read. It is a simple thing. Send me the MRI report.

I'm not one to write reviews, particularly not for a physician or a medical practice. In our current "healthcare" enviornment my experiences have been less than desirable. Large group practices are usually a disaster. But not so with GA Urology and Dr. Gonzalez. It was a pleasantly refreshing experience, right from making the appointment to the consultation itself. The electronic systems are one of the best, the staff is amazingly caring and accomodating. And Dr. Gonzalez himself was great. I wasn't really looking for a Urologist, but I think I just found my go-to man!
